[The C2 organ is] very portable and well built. A doddle to use. Every emulation sounds very authentic and it's a joy to play. I really can't find fault with any of the emulations - they are authentic throughout and very inspiring to play.
The C2 is hard to beat. It looks and feels great and delivers authentic emulations across the board. In comparison with our 1958 Hammond B3 and 122 Leslie, the C2 really does capture the mojo and overall tone/feel.
The new pipe organs are superb and, coupled with the onboard reverbs, really transport you into the grand surroundings of cathedrals, churches and concert halls. Same goes for the B3s, Voxs and Farfisas - they are all superb.
I can see many a church organist and new players alike having fun with this instrument but in a recording context it also works brilliantly.
To conclude, as far as B3/Vox/Farfisa/Pipe Organ emulators go this board cannot be beaten in terms of sounds, playability and portability.
Put it at the top of your list immediately! "

Sound On Sound 02/2010 - UK

By choosing not to squeeze pianos and synthesizers into the same instrument as an organ, Clavia have come up with a keyboard that is focused on what it does, and does it extremely well.

Its Vox and Farfisa models were excellent in the C1, and the improvements in the C2's Hammond emulation have cemented its status as first-class. Add the pipe organ and the whole package represents remarkable value for money. As far as I'm aware, there's no competition.
My biggest problem with this review has been stopping playing long enough to write anything. In deed, when you realise what each of the four organs in the C2 costs, the whole thing starts to look irresistible.
Whereelse can you find emulations of a Hammond C3, a Vox Continental ll, a Farfisa Compact Duo and a churchorgan for Ł500 each, with an amp modeller, Leslie rotary speaker, digital delay and digital reverb thrown in for free?
Get your wallet out. "

The sound, by itself, is so damn good? realistic, magic, aggressive if you want, sweet when you like. Moreover, the 4 different models are truly interesting. The leakage of the Věntage 3 model is kind of a miracle!
The new output section offers lots of flexibility. We tried the C2 also with an original 1958 Leslie122, with very pleasing results. At the end of the day, the Nord C2 weights less than 16 Kg, and will fit in the trunk of even the smallest cars.
A good set of optional accessories, such as the trolley-style soft case, the Half-Moon switch, the soon-to-come stand and the eagerly awaited midi Pedalboard with integrated Swell Pedal (PedalKeys27) do round up a true sounding and eminently portable solution for the touring musician.
Plug it in, turn it on and just play it.
Kiss goodbye to problems, to backpains and fatigued tendon. Need I say more?

With the C2 nord had continued logically the even very successfull concept of the C1. Many improvements in detail regarding the use as well as the sound are making the nord C2 even more perfect than the predecessor was already.
The clue is of course the new integrated pipe organ section, which makes this clever instrument suitable for a lot of new applications. To make a long story short: Regardless of which sound character you may like, the new C2 is the first choice for all organ sounds! Basta!

The Nord C2 is most likely the best B3 emulation on the market! I have never experienced a more prestine B3-emulation in a hardware unit and I have seldom played on a better keyboard.
The sampled church organ comes far in terms of usability and sound and is very realistic in every aspect, even when it comes to slightly detuned flues.
To the C2 tonewheel emulation some welcomed energy and punch has been added. Foremost to the lower frequency register and the result is good. Very good. With the added Vintage 3 mode and adjustable click Nord comes even closer to the original.
Consider the sound quality, portability and flexible output routing, the Nord C2 is the best solution for anyone going on tour with no room for the real deal, and will make you the king of the hill.
