Introducing NORD LIVE: Swatkins Sessions

We are thrilled to share this brand new live session featuring the amazing Steve "Swatkins" Watkins! 

Los Angeles-based keyboardist and talk box master Steve "Swatkins" Watkins brought his band to Blue Dream Studios in LA to record this brilliant new session of energetic funk and soul. First out is a song called "Gotta Give it Away" featuring Moorea Masa (backing vocals), Kyle Barnett (Guitar), Nick Campbell (bass) and Sam Brawner (drums). This session was recorded live at Blue Dream Studios in LA, January 2021 and the remaining episodes will be published in the coming months.

Steve "Swatkins" Watkins is a Los Angeles-based keyboardist/producer/songwriter/singer and a master of the talkbox. Swatkins has worked as a sideman and guest artist for many years and has been a member of Allen Stone's band since 2013. Swatkins has performed or recorded with The Motet, Eric Krasno, Liv Warfield (of Prince's New Power Generation), Bernie Worrell (of P-Funk/Talking Heads), Leo Nocentelli and George Porter, Jr. (of The Meters) and many more. Together with his band, The Positive Agenda, he plays "feel-good funk made by and for real human beings".
