NORD LIVE: DominiqueXavier Sessions

We are thrilled to share this funky new live session featuring the phenomenal DominiqueXavier! 

Dominique "DominiqueXavier" Taplin is an in-demand keyboardist/composer based out of Los Angeles, CA and has worked with the likes of Toto, Prince, Snoh Aalegra and Queen Latifah. He is also a member of the renowned funk band Ghost Note. 

He brought his band to Blue Dream Studios in LA to record this brilliant new session of energetic funk. First out is a song called "Strong and Wrong" featuring Robert ”Sput” Searight (drums), Brandon Brown (bass) and Mackenzie Green (Backing vocals),. This session was recorded live at Blue Dream Studios in LA, January 2021 and the remaining episodes will be published in the coming months.

Dominique "DominiqueXavier" Taplin

Born in Oakland, California and raised in Oklahoma City, Dominique Xavier Taplin has degrees in Classical Piano studies and Audio Engineering Post-Production from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Dominique was one of Prince's last keyboard players before he passed away. He currently plays and tour with Toto, Ghost Note, Daley, and Snoh Aalegra. Read more on the Nord Artist page.
