Introducing NORD LIVE: The LA Sessions - an exclusive new live session series featuring a phenomenal line-up of keyboardists from the LA area! 

In November we headed to Los Angeles and Blue Dream Studios to record another amazing NORD LIVE session directed by MD/Producer Daniel Weatherspoon. The LA Sessions feature fantastic perfromances from Brandon Coleman, Rachel Eckroth, Julian "J3PO" Pollack, Michael Bereal & Bennett Paysinger, Dave Mackay and Rai Thistlethwayte. Starting off with LA native Brandon Coleman performing his song "Giant Feelings" backed by our excellent house band with Daniel Weatherpsoon on keys/organ, Kenny Kolhaas on guitar, Alvin Spratley Jr on bass and Garrison Brown on drums. 

Daniel Weatherspoon
is a multi-award winning producer/keyboardist based in the Washington, DC area and has worked with world-renowned artists such as Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Paula Abdul, Carl Thomas, The Clark Sisters and many more. 

Brandon Coleman
A regular fixture with Babyface, Donald Glover, Flying Lotus, and Kamasi Washington’s band, Coleman represents a new chapter in the evolution of jazz and funk fusion. 

Rachel Eckroth
is a Grammy nominated pianist and singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona and is currently keyboardist for St. Vincent and Rufus Wainwright. 

Julian "J3PO" Pollack 
is an established pianist/keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer who has recorded/performed with the likes of Marcus Miller, Talib Kweli, Dave Sanborn, Kamasi Washington, Michael League (Snarky Puppy) and The Lesson GK. 

Michel Bereal
is a legendary gospel keyboardist/producer based out of Los Angeles who has worked with a wide range of artists including Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary, Kim Burrell, The Soul Seekers, Judith McAllister, Marvin Sapp, John P. Kee and Snoop Dogg. 

Bennett Paysinger 
is a renowned organ/keyboard player who has worked with artists such as Destiny's Child, Beyoncé, Brandy, Monica, Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. 

Dave Mackay
is a British pianist, singer, songwriter and producer, based in Los Angeles. He has toured and recorded for many artists including Art Garfunkel, Plini, Lapsley and Pomplamoose. 

Rai Thistlethwayte 
Rai is a one of Australia’s most respected musical talents: a highly accomplished pianist, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Currently based between Sydney and Los Angeles, Rai is the frontman of Thirsty Merc and tours globally with KNOWER, Oz Noy and Joe Satriani.
