A professor at the jazz department of the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music, and a professional session and live keyboardist, Dirk Schreurs records and tours with a wide range of pop, blues, rock, singer-songwriters and jazz/fusion artists around Europe. As a composer, Dirk also received three SABAM for Culture jazz composition awards in 2001, 2002 and 2013. In 2006 he composed the music to a video installation by Argentinian artist Marta Bressi. This project, called Minds of Glass, was shown at renowned art festivals in Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and New York.
