Born in the forest of the Great Northwest of the State of Oregon, USA, Farmer moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to hone his skills on his qwerty and 73-key keyboards.
Playing with hard funk bands and hip hop jazz trios alike, he met up with soul singer and emcee Aloe Blacc while playing with the BreakDown Boys in 2003 and in 2006, made his international touring debut, playing with Blacc and DJ Exile in support of Peanut Butter Wolf (Stone's Throw).
Farmer has executed several world tours with Blacc and the Grand Scheme as keyboardist and tour manager from 40 thousand festival fans in Australia to 400 friends and family in Portland Oregon. Television appearances include French TV, Conan O'Brien, Ellen, & David Letterman.
When not touring with Blacc, Farmer writes and rocks with his own band The WünderGroup, with lead singer Ben Thomas (Zappa Plays Zappa), drummer Chris Wabich (Lennard Cohen, Katisse), and Sweedish bass star David Hughes (Chaka Khan, Burt Bacharach, Ray Manzarek).
