Ji Nelson is a keyboardist, composer, arranger, and producer. Growing up playing organ in church in the small town of Midland, Texas is where his journey in the world of music began. The sounds of R&B, classical funk, and jazz fusion soon became heavy influences in his playing, writing, and arranging. The desire to learn more led him to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts and there he majored in music production and engineering. There he chiseled his skills to play, produce, and lead as musical director. Ji has been afforded the opportunity to produce, write, and appear on recordings for amazing artists such as David Murray, Will Smith, Anthony Hamilton, Kim Burrell and to tour with a few of the same.
