John Dalgaard was born in Denmark in 1977, but has been living in Paris since 1998. Originally working as a blues organist/pianist, he has spent the past 10 years accompanying a large number of French singers, somewhere in the pop-rock-folk-soul-electro realm. Some of the better known singers include Johnny Hallyday, Yael Naim, Gaetan Roussel, Damien Saez, Jean-Louis Aubert, Imany. 

"When you think about what you can do today with a Nord Stage 2, that weighs just 16 kg, it’s pretty difficult to be nostalgic about the good old days. This trend is true for many other instrument groups, but I think keyboard players are particularly blessed. And in my mind Clavia is really the company that stands out, and leads the way."
