Vocalist/keyboardist/songwriter Neara Russell is renowned for her creative musicality, technical prowess, and dynamic performance style. As an independent artist, she is a rare talent in the music industry: a distinctive voice with the ability to interact seamlessly with any project she works with.

By age 12, Neara was working as an accompanist, vocalist, and award-winning songwriter in her native Wisconsin. Following her appearance on the National Public Radio music show "From the Top,” she was selected from 3700 applicants for a full-ride Presidential Scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she graduated with a degree in contemporary composition and piano/voice performance.
 
As a touring/session keyboardist, Neara has performed with Hollywood Records artist Bridgit Mendler, violinist Lili Haydn, American Idol finalist Haley Reinhart, and Sony artist BC Jean. As a songwriter, Neara is an honoree of ASCAPLUS Awards and participant in the exclusive ASCAP Lester Sill Workshop for advanced songwriters. She is a member of the Los Angeles-based musician team The Backliners.
