Originally from Pittsburgh, PA Shawn is a self-taught pianist. He studied classical percussion at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Dr. Michael Kingan. Upon moving to South Florida, he completed his Bachelor’s degree at Florida Atlantic University under the direction of Dr. Kyle Prescott and Neel Shukla, and continued to immerse himself in percussive arts, composition, and education. Upon graduation, he worked the South Florida club scene playing drums and keyboards.

Currently the Touring Keyboardist and backup vocalist for Alternative Reggae/Hip Hop group The Dirty Heads (Huntington Beach, CA) Shawn has enjoyed a steady growth of work amongst South Florida performing artists while keeping up with a rigorous Dirty Heads touring schedule around the world.
