Fixed a bug in piano engine, which caused it to pick wrong levels for release samples that had compensated levels. The especially affected the harpsichord sounds which have strong level adjustments.

Fixed an issue where piano transfers to the Stage EX from the Nord Sound Manager would never be completed properly.
String Resonance – feature added. (String Resonance is turned on by pressing the Clav EQ Medium/Soft button so that the Medium LED is lit, when a XLR piano is active).
Piano Unison – feature added. By pressing the Clav EQ Brilliance/Treble button, you can select one of three Unison amounts, which will slightly detune the piano(s) if both Panels A and B are active.
The Extern Section has been augmented with a new MIDI Mode selection - Global or Program. The Global setting behaves like before, you set one outgoing MIDI for each of the two panels in the Extern section and these then rule for all the programs. The spanking new Program setting allows you to save a new setting for the Extern transmitting MIDI channels for each and every program and panel in the unit.
Another addition to the Extern section is the possibility to use a complete Bank Select procedure with both CC00 and CC32 values.
A bug in the Farfisa organ where certain selections could cause it to clip has been fixed.
The Clavinet is now displayed as one file/unit in the Manager, instead of four and will be shown as A. B. C and D in the Type LED on the unit. Please note: This new update is only available for the Nord Stage EX 256 MB units. The 5.1 version requires the Nord Sound Manager v 5.x and the new USB driver version 2.16 (for Windows computers) in order to be able to transfer pianos and programs - previous versions of the Stage Manager is not compatible.

Added String Resonance feature that reproduces the acoustic that occurs inside the body of a piano when un-dampened strings or parts of strings may resonate at their fundamental or overtone frequencies when other strings are sounded. Only XLR labeled pianos can be used with the feature.
