Moog Memorymoog

2012-12-12

The Memorymoog was Moog's last synthesizer before they went out of business in 1982. As the name suggests, it offered patch memory storage and the synth itself was very powerful, with 3 analog oscillators per voice and six voice polyphony - (18 oscillators at once in unison mode...). It was released just as MIDI was becoming a standard, and a Plus version of the Memorymoog added MIDI-support.

808 State, The Orb, Air, Jean-Michel Jarre, Jan Hammer, Bon Jovi, INXS, Rick Wakeman, Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran) and George Duke.
