Born in Oakland, California and raised in Oklahoma City, Dominique Xavier Taplin has degrees in Classical Piano studies and Audio Engineering Post-Production from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Upon moving to Los Angeles 5 yrs ago with my gift and talents, I have quickly become a highly sought after musician and have been blessed to play with and for many accomplished artists.

A few of the artists include: Prince, Max De Castro, Teedra Moses, Ellis Hall, Ghost Note, Judith Hill, Daley, Snoh Aalegra, Queen Latifah, and Toto. I was one of Prince's last keyboard players before he passed away. Currently, I play and tour with ToTo, Ghost Note, Daley, and Snoh Aalegra.
