Yevhenii Dubovyk

Yevhenii Dubovyk is a Ukrainian composer, pianist, and keyboardist based in Kyiv. He leads the Yevhenii Dubovyk Project, an ensemble that blends modern jazz, neo-soul, nu-jazz, electronic music, and contemporary classical influences.

Dubovyk graduated from the Composition Department of the Ukrainian National Music Academy in 2021, where he studied under composer Ivan Taranenko. Prior to that, he studied jazz piano at the Levko Revutskyi Chernihiv Music College.

Since 2021, Dubovyk has led the Yevhenii Dubovyk Project, an ensemble whose music blends modern jazz, neo-soul, nu-jazz, electronic, and contemporary classical influences. The project has released eight instrumental singles featuring Ivan Korniienko (drums), Kyrylo Cherkashyn (saxophones), Stanislav Diachenko (bass guitar), Dmytro Markov (tenor saxophone), and Mariia Tytova (beatbox).

The Yevhenii Dubovyk Project has performed at leading Ukrainian festivals, including Atlas Unity, Atlas Festival, Fusion Jams, V’YAVA Unity, Charity Kurazh Jazz, and Dzyga Jazz Fest. The ensemble has also been featured in live YouTube sessions such as Total: Live, Blue Lizard, and GRAM Live.

Several tracks are featured on the in-game radio of the video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

As a session musician, Dubovyk has collaborated with artists including MOVA, MUR, Ziferblat, Jerry Heil, and Fiolet.
