New in version v5.3: This latest update adds support for the Nord Stage 2, Nord Piano and Nord Electro 3 HP's Long Release feature on all Grand Pianos, Uprights, Electric Pianos and Electric Grands.
All sounds available in 3 sizes - large, medium and small
All three sizes share the same amount of velocity layers, and the same number of zones that are mapped across the keyboard. This means that you can rely on a consistent quality in regards to the playability and expressiveness in the basic sound of every piano, no matter what size you choose to install in your Nord Piano Library compatible unit.
The Large versions have the pedal-down String Resonance samples all across the keyboard, providing you with the fullest of sounds, but also the largest size.
The Medium versions have pedal-down String Resonance samples in the important middle region of the range, but omit these in the lowest and the highest areas. This gives you a good ratio of functionality and size.
Sml is the version that uses the least amount of space in the piano memory, but still carry a big and powerful punch. This version does not contain any String Resonance samples at all. If an Sml piano is selected in the Nord unit, the String Resonance feature (if applicable) will be disabled.

Queen Upright (Bösendorfer)
''... with the sound of a grand piano'' is a legendary saying associated with Bösendorfer's upright piano. The clear, sustaining sound is typical for this upright, as is the original's unique construction, selected materials and excellent finishing.
The action and keyboard were precisely adjusted to ensure an ideal touch and the best possible transfer of power with a maximum degree of control. There is no other way to say it; this is a real queen.

Black Upright (Petrof)
Our Black Upright is a Petrof 132 upright piano. It is a tall piano and typically used for musical schools, in clubs and homes.
The Petrof actions are known to be very quick, with good repetition, and to enable good control in creating tones, provide a great feeling when you play. The hammers are voiced for a soft tone; a characteristic for these upright pianos that the Nord Piano Library version truly reproduces in great detail.
