Nord is quite literally the gold standard for keyboards for both live and production contexts. The sound design ease of use and creative potential is limitless. It’s been a dream of mine for a while now to become a Nord artist and I’m incredibly honored to be joining the Nord family and to be able to represent these keyboards alongside so many of my favorite artists and heroes

Keyboardist, composer and producer ZENG sees the world as one musically speaking. He’s been an opener for jazz luminaries such as Grammy-winning trumpeter/composer Terence Blanchard and Grammy-nominated keyboardist Marc Cary.  He’s been on the NY/Philly improvisational music scene and has also shared the stage with many jazz greats including the 7x Grammy-winning bassist Robert Hurst, Blue Note Recording artist Mark Shim and Grammy-winning drummer Thomas Pridgen (Mars Volta). His debut album as a producer and keyboardist released on the multi-Grammy award winning jazz label Ropeadope Records is titled “Loading…”.  "Loading..." features ZENG as primary songwriter producer and keyboardist and includes guest appearences by J. Hoard (Chance the Rapper), Braxton Cook (Tom Misch, Rihanna), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy) and Maurice Brown (Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals) and Marquis Hill.

As a graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in Jazz Piano Performance he studied with Blue Note Recording artist Kendrick Scott and also studied arranging/composition with Macarthur Genius Fellow/multi-Grammy nominated saxophonist Miguel Zenon. David was mentored by the highly acclaimed and Grammy-nominated gospel-pianist/vocalist/music director Damien Sneed (Aretha Franklin, Wynton Marsalis, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross).
