Andi Bayou
Andi Haryo Setiawan and his band, Bayou, released their first album in 1995, which was a big success, thanks to Andi's hit song "Only You." Since then Andi has pursued a career in the Indonesian recording industry as a songwriter, arranger, producer, and keyboardist.
Andi's passion for music began in 1986 when his parents bought a piano and several other instruments. His musical abilities succeeded throughout high school, and his band, The Wheeze, won multiple festivals.
In 1988, Andi set up his first home studio, delving into the world of MIDI equipment, composition, and arrangement. During this time, he started producing numerous jingles for advertisements and creating backing tracks for Indonesia's national television network in Jogja.
By 1990, Andi had moved to Jakarta, where he collaborated with notable musicians such as James F. Sundah, Vonny Sumlang, and the Premix Band, taking on roles as a composer, arranger, and producer. He was also invited by Mus Mujiono to co-write and arrange two songs for his album, "The Best of Mus Mujiono."
Over the years, Andi has collaborated with many well-known artists, including Iwan Fals, Nicky Astria, Sheila On 7, Kangen Band, Judika, Syahrini, Rio Febrian, Color, Dewi Sandra, and Mayangsari. He has also served as the music director and producer for TV shows like AFI 1, Dream Band and Rising Star.
