Russell Keefe

Russell Keefe has had a long and varied career in music both on the road and in the studio. Having played in many original bands in his early years Keefe recorded albums and singles for Polygram and United Artists.

In the 1991 he joined Les Mckeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers and toured the world for 16 years. With Mckeown he also played on and wrote songs for two studio albums and a live album recorded in Japan. During that time he also did one tour with The Pretty Things playing keyboards.

In January 2019 he joined the 70's/80's iconic rock band Slade, singing lead vocals jointly with bass player John Berry and playing keys along side original guitarist and legend Dave Hill and drummer Alex Bines. Slade play gigs all over the UK and Europe.
Russell has also written music for television drama and he has just finished the music for a short film “Echoes”.

Russell has is own solo project - TBelly. The bands first album “Dead Men Don’t Pray” was released in 2015. The album got fantastic critical acclaim in the USA, Europe and the UK. TBelly released their second album “I Never Want To See Me Again” in Oct 2021
Dennis Dunaway the original bass player from the Alice Cooper Group played on the title track. Russell also has an alter ego “ishlo” through which he release the occasional electronica track.
