Farfisa Polychrome

2012-10-09

The Farfisa Polychrome is a very exotic instrument to come by. The Polychrome was launched in 1979 and like many of its contemporary "String Machine" companions it was an analog syntesizer that focused on emulating traditional "orchestra" sounds like strings, ensemble, choirs (and there's even a piano that sounds with surprisingly piano-like!). The Polychrome featured full polyphony, aftertouch and a Chorus/Phaser effect.
